Brian Hooker, PhD., is about to take down the CDC. Yes, the CDC. According to Tim Bolen, “In late 2004 Biochemist Scientist Brian Hooker PhD had had enough.  He’d been looking, carefully, through the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s so-called “Evidence” that Thimerosal was “Safe and Effective” as a preservative in vaccines.  Having read all of the then available CDC studies making that claim, he, as a PhD Scientist, couldn’t help but shake his head “NO.”  To him, none of the purported proof was anywhere near being scientifically adequate.  Far from it.

So, like any math teacher would do to a student he began to communicate to the CDC his questions.   In essence he was saying “Show me your work.  Show me how you came up with these answers” – a reasonable question series among scientists, teachers and students, and frankly, the population of Planet Earth.

What was CDC’s response?  STONEWALL -  a six year knock-down, drag-out brawl to get that information.  Brian Hooker would not let up.  Neither would the CDC.

The 10/06/11 discussion on race relations could not be contained into one hour, so we had to go into Extra Innings: Radio’s Richard Pearl (“Pearls of Health”) joins RSB and Liam Scheff for some roundtable discourse that breaks the rules of public discussion! We talk race, class, black and white, money and power, Obama, the presidency, and the history and inheritance of slavery. Should “black folk” just ‘get over it,’ and buy into the American system of shopping and spending? Should reparations for slavery be paid? If so, how? If not, why not? Are there truly ‘racial’ differences between people, or do people just embrace superficial differences and create tribal identities around them? Can we all just get along, and will the Federal Government provide the solutions? Yeah, right. There is no intent to offend, but there are not enough open and frank discussions about issues surrounding subdivisions within the human race.
